Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 31, 2026. This Policy applies to the Orlivon Service.
Data we process
When you use Orlivon, the Service processes the URL you submit, the detected source platform, your selected quality, request timestamps, IP address, temporary download tokens, technical error information and signals needed to prevent abuse.
We do not ask for social-media passwords, account cookies, authentication tokens or user accounts.
Why we process it
This information is used to analyze authorized public media, generate previews, provide downloads, apply rate limits, protect the Service, investigate errors and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Temporary files and retention
Media files are processed in temporary storage. Files are normally removed when streaming finishes or the connection closes. A cleanup routine removes abandoned temporary files older than one hour.
Optional metadata removal
If you enable Privacy download, Orlivon creates a temporary remuxed copy intended to remove common personal and editorial metadata, such as title, author, comments and location, while preserving the technical information needed for playback. The temporary source and processed copy follow the same deletion lifecycle described above.
Download tokens expire after ten minutes. Rate-limit records are held in server memory only for their applicable limit window and are then removed. The current Service does not maintain user accounts or a permanent download history.
Source platforms and service providers
To fulfill a request, the server communicates with the source platform identified by the URL. Hosting, network and infrastructure providers may process limited technical data as necessary to operate the Service.
Advertising and cookies
Advertising is currently disabled. If advertising or analytics is enabled later, this Policy and the applicable consent controls must be updated before activation. Orlivon currently does not intentionally set advertising or analytics cookies.
Security
We use temporary single-use download links, IP-bound tokens, rate limits, concurrency controls, security headers and file validation. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, confirmation of processing, objection or information about sharing. Requests will be evaluated under applicable law.
